Starting the Journey: A Facebook Post That Changed Everything
It all began with a simple scroll through Facebook. Cathy stumbled upon an article featuring Michelle Tilley’s story and a 3-Day Challenge with SuperFastDiet. At the time, Cathy was overweight, enjoyed her food and drinks a bit too much, and felt a strong connection to Michelle’s story. “I was in a similar situation to Michelle,” she recalls. “So, I thought, why not give it a try?” Cathy is now 41kg lighter and loving life!
Finding My ‘Why’: The Motivation to Change
For Cathy, the motivation to begin her SFD journey was straightforward: she wanted to relieve the pressure on her arthritic knees and lose a few kilos. But what started as a modest goal turned into an incredible transformation. “Fast forward 51 weeks, and I’ve gifted myself an amazing 41kg!” Cathy says. “I say ‘amazing’ because I’m still amazed it was even possible.”
The Transformation: A New Life, A New Perspective
Although Cathy hasn’t yet reached her ultimate weight loss goal, she’s within a few kilos of it and has already seen remarkable changes. The pain in her knees has vanished, and moving has become a joy once more. But the transformation didn’t stop at her physical health. “SFD hasn’t just changed my body shape; it’s completely transformed how I look at life,” Cathy shares. “I’m so much happier now and can’t thank Vic, Gen, and the SFD community enough.”
Words of Wisdom: Don’t Give Up
Cathy’s journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and community support. Her advice to anyone starting their weight loss journey? “Don’t give up! If things go off track, just reset and start again. Every day, aim to do a little better than the last, and the results will come.”
