Favourite product right now: Â Eyebrow pencils make a huge difference to definition of brows and helps us look younger as disguises greys and I dye my own eyebrows with kits from Priceline (not expensive).
Best anti-ageing tip:Â Having straight eyebrows makes you look younger. Brows that are too curved will actually age your face!
Fashion advice: I’m short so figure hugging makes me look taller and slimmer than loose clothing. Also, the same colour boots make legs look longer so therefore slimmer!
Claudia R
Claudia R is a total boss babe who always looks sophisticated and sun-kissed!
Favourite product right now:  Kora Organics Phytox Oil. I use this before I go to sleep every night after cleansing and toning and find it helps my skin appear more clear, soft and radiant. Expensive but worth every penny!
Best anti-ageing tip: Sunscreen. I am always terrified of getting fried during the summer months and ensure that I wear suncream every day under my makeup, even when it isn’t sunny out.
Fashion advice: Fake tan = -5kg overnight!
Rosie
Rosie used to be the editor of a hair and beauty magazine… so you’ll want to pay extra careful attention to her tips!
Favourite products right now: Â
a) Tarte Toasted Eye Shadow Palette. This palette was a birthday gift, but I’ve had my eye on it for ages. All the shades are soft, warm and very pigmented. And the colours are perfect for my dark-haired, green-eyed complexion.
I love that I have a choice between 12 different mix-and-matchable shades that all complement one another, each with different finishes. A great eyeshadow palette is my favourite investment, because it gives you endless combos and a multitude of looks to choose from.
b) L’Oreal SuperLiner Superstar in Black. This felt-tipped black liner is fine, very pigmented and really easy to manoeuvre. My go-to look is a winged liner, so a great product like this is a must-have.
It’s uber-black. My favourite shade! Also, depending on how hard you press, you can get everything from a really fine line to a super-chunky cats-eye. It’s almost fool-proof and makes fancy winged eyeliner looks a cinch.
c) Danne Montague King Micro Peel: This gentle AHA exfoliating peel removes dead skin cells, helps with congestion and softens fine lines. I use it once every two weeks to refresh my complexion. It leaves my skin soft, plump and smooth.
It sloughs off dead skin without leaving my skin rough or sore, like some scrubs can. It’s also really easy to apply, just pop on a thin layer and chillax for ten minutes. I like the tingly feeling my skin gets during the peel, and I love how it just soaks up the intense moisture mask that I apply afterwards. Plus, it makes my makeup look (and stay) really fresh afterwards.
Best anti-ageing tips:
a) Always take your makeup off! I had terrible skin as a teenager, and my mum drilled into me to always wash my face before bed. It’s the one thing I’ve always done and will continue to do – no matter how tired I am.
b) Oil is good! Over the past few years, I’ve learned the value of good facial and hair oils. I’ve used everything from rosehip to coconut on my skin and hair, always with great results.
c) Hand cream and lip balm are musts. My Nanna always told me that your lips and your hands will show age well before the rest of you – so I always have a moisturising lip balm and good quality hand cream close by. I slather my hands in moisturiser before bed to keep them soft and smooth – and any extra facial oil, serum, moisturiser or mask ingredients get used on my hands and lips too.
Fashion advice:
a)Â Keep it Simple: I’m petite, so patterns and outfits that are too tizzy just don’t work on me. I stick to block colours, fine, dainty jewellery and cinched silhouettes to lengthen me out and make me look put-together.
b)Â Rock Your Curves: Because I have an hourglass silhouette, I need to highlight my waist and my curves. I find that slim-line, fitted tees, tops or shirts tucked into pants and skirts, high-waists and belts help to draw focus to my slimmer waist.
c)Â Longer Lines: If you’re petite, like me, anything that lengthens your silhouette is good. I go for pashminas and scarves that create a v-line across my top half, and long-line jewellery to help draw the eye upwards away from my hips and towards my face. These types of long-line accents help to accentuate my favourite features.
Mary-Anne
Mary-Anne has just turned 50 and thanks to losing weight, she, her hubby and all her friends think she looks way younger than she did at 40!
Favourite product right now: Â Palmer’s coconut oil hand cream. It smells divine and is only $4.49 at Priceline.
Best anti-ageing tip: Whisk an egg white and apply to a cleansed face. Let dry for 1/2 an hour and wash off with cold water. This makes even a craggy Saturday morning face look younger…well, as much as an egg white miracle can.
Fashion advice: Skinny jeans look skinnier when teamed with chunk heeled black boots and a fitted t underneath won’t show your muffin top if you add a cinched jacket.
Donna
Donna says her beauty regime is pretty basic and simple. She has the most beautiful, youthful skin!
Favourite product right now: I love ‘Simple’ cleansing facial wipes (from Coles) – quick & easy. Remember to take your make-up off before bed!
Best anti-ageing tip: My grandmother taught me the importance of moisturising. She would sit watching the nightly news rubbing Ponds cream into her elbows & knees! Don’t forget the elbows, knees, feet & hands! I’ve been using Nivea Soft moisturiser with Jojoba Oil & Vitamin E in the tube for forever! And the smooth body lotion with shea butter in the lilac pump.
Fashion advice: A little heel always helps those who are height challenged! Black is thinning!
Claudia B
Claudia B has spent years working in the fashion industry so it’s safe to say she knows a thing or two about style!
Favourite product right now:  Nude By Nature Highlight Palette – This little palette has three shades to define, colour and highlight. It’s a perfect size, the shades are natural with a gorgeous amount of glimmer and I use it to double as an eyeshadow palette. When using as a bronzer and highlighter, it’s really light so gives great definition but still gives quite a natural look
Best anti-ageing tip: My mum has the most youthful skin so I always try to follow what she does! Don’t overdo it with products and keep it simple. A good, natural cleanser and moisturise always!
Fashion advice: Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Sometimes the outfits that look amazing are ones you wouldn’t even pick out! Asking friends or sale assistants to help pick out new clothes is always a great place to start
Nicola
Nicola is the queen of chic! She usually wears neutral and monochrome shades with a cute pair of heeled ankle boots.
Favourite product right now: Â NARS creamy radiant concealer – to cover up the spots and dark circles. I even wear it without foundation but always with mascara for those days you need to quickly dash out to the shops.
Best anti-ageing tip: Moisturising your face morning and night to try and keep the wrinkles away. I have sensitive, dry skin so use Cetaphil Moisturising Cream.
Fashion advice: Wear a pair of shoes that have a heel to make your legs look longer & slimmer!
Katie
Katie has a penchant for natural beauty products and floral dresses by day and a pair of heels at night.
Favourite product right now: Glow Inner Beauty Powder by The Beauty Chef – this is a yummy probiotic skin supplement that is filled with nutrients and natural ingredients like maqui berries, dunaliella salina, and queen garnet plum. It’s great mixed with water or in a berry smoothie. I’m a big believer in beauty starting from the inside – in more ways than one! I love this product as it gives me fresh, glowing skin!
Best anti-ageing tip: My mum always told me that the best face masks are made in the kitchen with things like honey, yoghurt, avocado. At the moment, I am loving my simple DIY scrub. It’s just coconut oil and brown sugar! I massage it on my face and then leave it on for five minutes before rinsing.
Fashion advice: Be bold! Let your personality shine through what you wear. I can’t go past a floral dress… oh boy, I sound like a hippy!
Jen
Jen likes to keep her beauty regime simple. With two young kids and little time to spare, her look is effortless and cool!
Favourite product right now: Â Garnier BB Cream
Best anti-ageing tip: My Mum was hopeless with makeup and very rarely used it. She was all about sunscreen and Vitamin E cream for everything!
Fashion advice: A wedding photographer once told me that if you put your tongue to the roof of your mouth you will save the double chin in photos… hahaha!
