Like many people, the Super Staff struggle with developing healthy sugar habits. Thanks to Dr Jenny Brockis’ expert tips, we definitely know that too much of the sweet stuff is not good for us.
But getting used to life without sugar in our tea or an after-dinner dessert takes us on a roller coaster of motivation and emotion. And when it gets too tough, and we find ourselves failing over and over; we like to laugh about it, smile and try again.
This Friday funnies, we have a giggle over how hard it is to cut through all the confusion about sugar and how hard it is to deal!
Don’t you worry about sugar…
Because actually, it’s fat that’s our frenemy. So stay away from that.
Wait, ignore that, we’ve had another look and sugar is the baddie.
Especially (sweet, sweet) processed sugar.
And you know what, it’s hidden in lots of healthy food.
So don’t forget to check everything…
Because you really need to try and cut refined sugar out.
(seriously)
Wave goodbye to waffles for breakfast…
And forget about a sugary 3PM pick-me-up
Also, ease up on those desserts…
Just remember that you’ll probably give in, because change is difficult!
But the more you persist, the better you’ll get at passing it up
And eating it in moderation
And loving healthier alternatives
Like sweet sweet Stevia!
Which will lead to less of those sugar crashes
Maybe even some with weight loss
Definitely better health
And an all round sweet life!
It’s a crazy ride but getting even just a little bit healthier is worth a try! Have you tried to give up sugar? Let us know about your experience below!
