Here are ten fabulous things you can do at home right now to keep your mind and body occupied and healthy! You might just find love for a new hobby, such as cooking or meditation? You never know if you don’t try!
Set goals and be creative. Have you tried any of these yet?
- Declutter your wardrobe & room. Maybe there are some items that no longer fit or things that you no longer use or inspire you? Pop them in a bag and make up a bag to give to charity.
- Meditate. There are plenty of apps such as Calm and YouTube videos to search to take you through a guided meditation at home. Spotify also has plenty of great playlists of Meditation Music that is sure to relax you.
- Get some sun. Whether that is just lying out and getting some rays, reading a book or exercising in the backyard! The sun can do wonders for your mood and your health. But not TOO much!
- Make a positive vision board. It isn’t a secret that we here at SuperFastDiet love our vision boards. We encourage it to all our new members in the program. What would be on yours?
- Play a board game! We bet, just like us, there are so many games sitting in your cupboard not being used. Get your family together and play some games. It is so fun and a great way to get everyone involved.
- Watch your favourite TV show or movie. Netflix, Stan, and so many other platforms are great and have so many new things to watch and also the classics! FRIENDS marathon, anyone?
- Play with your pet & give them lots of cuddles! How about learning a new trick?
- Plan and cook up new meals or recipes – we have plenty in our members’ recipe library. We also have plenty available in our blog such as a Veggie Frittata or a delicious Chicken Curry Noodle Soup!
- Light your favourite candle. They smell delicious and just always seem to add an essence of calm to any space in the home.
- Focus on YOU and your health! All of these are awesome ways to practice self-care for your mind and your body.
